Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2022 March 13

This week, Miraculous ends its season with a two-parter.  Robot Chicken brings in Yoshi and Snoopy.  The Good Doctor gets into partisan politics and cancer.  The Flash plays Die Hard at their police station while the cold characters get cozy.  We get new episodes and season finale’s of Raised by Wolves, Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Picard.  Blacklist gets into the dark web stock market.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2022 March 6

A slight shake-up this week, as shows from last week.  We have Miraculous to keep the kids busy for a few moments while you watch Robot Chicken go against the Powerpuff Girls.  The Good Doctor gets a pop star in the hospital.  Superman is filled with family drama, even pitting brother against brother.  Naomi goes gar shopping.  The Legends skip town this week, but The Flash steps in with a new episode.  In Season Eight, Arrow tried to shift the show to the kids of the main character, which didn’t work, so now the Flash is going to try it.  Discovery is out, but Picard is here to do Penance in their place.  Raised by Wolves doesn’t give us any hints about their second to last episode this season, other than they’re “Feeding”.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2022 February 27

Not enough to watch last week?  Great news, we’ve got more returning favorites!  First, there’s Ladybug for the kids, and Robot Chicken not for them, and then The Good Doctor returns to deal with the fallout of calling off the wedding.  On Superman, Lois is back on the same front page with her editor, and they are going after the Cult of Bizarro.  Naomi goes to homecoming.  The Legends settle down into their new/old lives, but as expected that’s short lived they they are immediately off on an adventure.  Batwoman teams up with her mother to stop her brother from pulling off a Joker-style scheme.  Raised by Wolves finally get into their Seed Box.  We don’t get descriptions for Star Trek: Discovery, but we don’t need to focus on that since Picard’s second season also starts this week.  If that wasn’t space enough for you, there’s a premier of season 13 of Mystery Science Theater 3000, and this season looks to be a doozy.  We can wrap the week up with Red getting the Blacklist task force to investigate a group one of them might have joined.

Peacemaker did a great job of holding up the DC shows, but now that his season is finished the CW shows return.  Superman and Lois celebrate a quinceañera.  Naomi gets romantic while Dee gets zen.  The Legends help Gideon fights herself.  Batwoman and crew plan to deal with their big bad while Poison Mary plans to make amends.  Raised by Wolves has Marcus and his flowers playing Indiana Jones to discover a new temple.  Star Trek doesn’t give us a description.  Blacklist gets into 5G.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2022 February 13

To all those with sweethearts, a happy Valentine’s Day!  To everyone, you’ll have a bit of a distraction with another quiet week, but if you have kids you can watch a return of the animated Miraculous with a special guest star.  If you are watching animated adventures, do not bring the kids for the ending of the Legend of Vox Machina.  Peacemaker is also finishing its season with alien cow mutilations (more or less.)  Raised by Wolves actually gives us a heads up that they keep fighting even when their powers disappear.  Star Trek: Discovery continues the second half of its season, but also continues the trend of not sending advance descriptions.
