Bablyon 5 Season One DVD Release Date

DVD have now announced that the first season of
Bablyon 5, collectively titled “Signs and
Portents,” will be released on DVD on November 5 of
this year. They’ve got the box art too, if you want
to take a gander.
Head Says Buffy’s Seventh Season Likely Last
Marti Noxon and Nicholas Brendan disagreed about
whether the seventh season of Buffy will be the last
one. According to this
Sci-Fi Wire article, Anthony Stewart Head agrees
with Nicholas Brendan, and predicts that the seventh
season will be the last one.

“Bionicle: The Movie” inspired by LEGO
According to this
Cinescape article, Mirimax has optioned the
rights to make CGI movies based on LEGO. The first
will be on video in 2003, the second on the big
screen in 2004.
Smallville Review – Pilot Movie
The “pilot movie” edit of the first two episodes was
released as a DVD yesterday. (Note: it’s only
available in Canada or from Canadian retailers.) The
weekly reviews of new episodes will start with season
two this fall.

Quantum Leap TV movie
According to this Sci-Fi Wire article the Sci-Fi channel will be making a TV movie based on Quantum Leap and a weekly series based on Tremors. It also sounds like any other Universal property is fair game if they think there’s a market for it. Are there any other Universal properties you’d like to see on the small screen?
Ender’s Game on the shelf
Hoggoth writes, This article on Yahoo reports that filmmaker Wolfgang Peterson has stopped work on the Ender’s Game movie in order to work on ‘Superman vs. Batman’.
