Death Comes To "Death Comes To Time"

For those who just can’t get enough of Jelly Baby-wielding weirdoes: Remember about a year ago, when we reported on a Doctor Who radio play that was made available online? Well, if you haven’t gotten round to listening to it yet, you’d darned well better. The BBC is reporting that the first episodes will cease to be available after this weekend, leading up to the audio CD release of the programme.

The Seventh Season Of Buffy

Ain’t It Cool News
has once again rounded up a decent amount of
information about the next season of Buffy The
Vampire Slayer
. Two recent articles talk about
official
information from the ATAS meeting
given by Joss
Whedon and others and more
official snippets
from various sources. Neither
article mentions the guest role for Britney Spears
that is going to happen. (I saw the video footage of
Joss confirming this at the Saturn awards.) Did
anyone out there choose to endure Crossroads?
Perhaps you could let us know how well she’d fit into
this cast.

“Lone Gunmen” Ahead of its Time?

In what is being called the greatest case of mass amnesia, Sci Fi Wire points out that the pilot episode of "Lone Gunmen" foreshadows, pretty specifically, the 9/11 attacks on the WTC buildings.

I watched the pilot and completely forgot about it! I wonder if we will ever see the show in reruns now?

Daredevil and Solaris Trailers online

New trailers for Daredevil and
Solaris went online yesterday. The
Daredevil trailer shows you something of the
movie. The Solaris trailer just flashes
names of people involved (like George Clooney and
James Cameron), but neglects to mention that it’s
based on a novel by Stanislaw Lem. (Since Cameron’s
adapting it, that’s probably a good thing; I don’t
expect an accurate adaptation from him.) You can view
both at Apple’s site.
