Once Again, Alleged Voyager Spoilers

David E. Smith Star Trek

The standard rumour disclaimers apply to every darn
word of this
page
which claims to have a detailed synopsis of
the Star Trek: Voyager finale. I’d also like to take
this opportunity to ask for volunteers to tape the show
for me, and to mail me a copy of said show, since I’m
not gonna be able to see it locally.

X-Files Season 9 Still Uncertain

David E. Smith The X-Files

Chris Carter really needs to make up his mind… Okay,
so it’s not entirely up to him, but he’s certainly a
big part. The whole
scoop
is over on the wire.

It’s kinda hard to tell what all the details are, but
apparently Hollywood has reached a deal with the
Writers Guild of America. Read
all about it
and if you can make sense of the
details, feel free to comment.

Golden Duck Awards

Brian Books

Every year, three of the best children’s Sci-Fi books are honored with a Golden Duck Award.

Because it’s never too early to warp a young child’s mind.

WGA Strike? Maybe…Maybe Not…

Brian Movies

Reuters is carrying this article about the negotiations. It looks like both sides are trying to find a middle ground.

What I find so sad about these strikes (like the ones in pro sports) when these people walk out, they really aren’t effected (they have too much in the bank to really care), it’s the “little” people (janitors, maintenance, secretaries, etc.) that get laid off, while execs still keep their seven figure salaries. Pretty damn shameful.

The Simpsons See D’oh

David E. Smith TV Series

I know I stole the headline from this article but it was just too good to pass up. The Simpsons cast have all been signed for two more seasons, which should keep them on the air ’til about 2004. (I may be off by a year here, but at any rate we’ll still be laughing for a while.)
