  1. With the last issue out, we’ll have a review of the Doctor Who / Star Trek crossover soon. Before the world ends, certainly.

And speaking of Signs of the Apocalypse, any thoughts on the developments in Spider-man?

    • My comic guy knows I hate spoilers and that I will be out of the country on vacation when ASM 700 hits stands, so he let me read the issue early. Some people will be furious, but I’m really looking forward to where Slott takes this. It’s not the ending I’d have predicted based on the issues alone, but I did see it coming combining the content of issues 698 and 699 (699.1 was more like Morbius 0.1) with Slott’s public comments and New York Comic Con and the January solicitations.

In short: do NOT judge it based on out of context rumours, and give the Spider-Man relaunch in January a fair chance.

      • I am outraged. He let you read the issue early?!?

Okay, seriously, I… can’t take this seriously. It will be undone before the next Spider-man movie, hopefully as an intended part of a story arc.

It would be very clever if this went in the direction of The Fifth Head of Cerberus, but it won’t.

And people who have been threatening the life of Dan Slott over this seriously need to get one. And help. Immediately.
