      Can’t WAIT for the season to continue!

      Canucks who haven’t caught the show online can finally catch the start of the second season January 14 on Space.

        It’s been over 10 years since I lived in Canada. I miss the mountains… and the whole baiting death by making fun of hockey thing… but I digress (;

        I’m not DLing it, I’ll let TiVo pick it up for me. But I’ll be looking at the ToDo list and making DAMN sure it’ll get the whole thing!

  2. Best I’ve seen in a while
    BSG is just about the best show in several years, the last good one being Firefly and we know what happened with that. BSG is one of those shows that grabs you roughly by the scruff of the neck and won’t let go, dragging you through its emotionally charged stories – watching several episodes in a row is like a pretty awe inspiring experience. The sooner they finish season 2 and release a real DVD set the better.

      I’ll have to say that this is the major difference between the old and new BSGs. The old series was definitely cool, but the writing didn’t really stand out that often. I knew I’d be hooked with the updated BSG because of the way they played out the “six and the baby” and “leaving sublight ships behind” scenes. They weren’t going to just do it all over again, they were trying something new.

      I’m really looking forward to next Friday!

        I like this season better than the first. Last year they had to spend good chunks of four episodes destroying the notion of the Cylon detector so they could keep up the drama of anyone being a cylon. This year has stepped beyond that somewhat, which is a good thing.

        I am fully expecting the confilct with Pegasus to be awesome.

        Oh and theres a small spoiler in the title of the next episode. Its Regeneration Ship.

          If you’re gonna spoil something, at least get the title (Resurrection Ship) right :D

          Besides, I’m sure all of us read that “spoilers ahoy!” article posted a couple weeks back. Or watched the “sneak peek” on the just-released DVD set. Or… well, you get the idea.

          Eight days, folks…

      One of the things I like about BSG is they did incorporate some of the good things Firefly had. Stylistically, the whole unsteady-cam-in-space thing (sure, they use it not in space too), they make a passing effort about the no sounds in space thing, etc. And they had Serenity in there (:

        And they had Serenity in there (:

        ??? Do tell? I’ve obviously missed that one.

          In the miniseries. When Roslyn is getting her diagnosis from the Doc, in the skylight beyond her.
