Gulf War Trivia

It’s Episode 251 of the Dorky Geeky Nerdy Trivia Podcast. This week, we finish our trio of 20th century war trivia episodes with Gulf War Trivia. I was in high school when this started, so it’s not something I studied in a textbook. I have friends that served in this war and they have interesting stories. If you were there, thank you for your service.

Just like always, DGN has three rounds of ten questions each. If you need rules or score cards, visit DorkyGeekyNerdy.com.

And now, on with the show.

  1. My morning has been full of annoyances. I was alive for this one, and didn’t like it then, so this probably won’t help. (We’re about the same age, Brian.)

    Dorky – 7 right, 7 points –
    Geeky – 6 right, 12 points – I knew a lot more names than I expected.
Nerdy – 1 right, 3 points – I should have known the OKC bomber’s name, since my wife was in OKC at the time, but I blanked.

Good trivia, but I am looking forward to more familiar territory next week.

    • Gen X in the house!

I wrote and recorded this back before the current Israel-Hamas war broke out. I was on the fence about letting it go, but I figured it’s more context for the current mess.

So much went on in this war that only came out 10-20 years after it happened.
