It’s time to get creepy because it’s October. All month, it’s horror-themed trivia. For the first Wednesday of October 2025, I’ve got Arachnid Trivia. My wife’s going to hate me for this one.
This is surprisingly well times for me, as my DnD character, who was a gnome, just became a seven foot tall drider. One of his buddies is incredibly arachnophobic, like the DM, so of course my character is trying to give him a hug to calm him down.
Dorky – 9 correct, 9 points – First question, you gotta be more specific! There’s plenty back there! – For #9, you also need to be more specific because the obvious answer isn’t nearly the only one anymore.
Geeky – 2 correct, 4 points – This round was the one I started to get creeped out in.
Nerdy – 0 correct, 0 points – I might not have gotten any of these, but the answers all fascinating.
I am mostly okay with spiders, except whenever the Brown Recluse comes up. My wife got a bite from one of those when she was a young mother, and the story scared and scarred me. –shudder–
