We’ve discussed this one before, but apparently, it’s now a fact.
And speaking of Second Comings, James Cameron apparently thinks he’s found the Body of Christ.

Second?
Shouldn’t that be the pre-co… er. Nevermind.
This whole article could be used after the movie comes out.
"Star Trek Prequel Sucks
We’ve discussed this before but now it’s fact."
Re: Second?
"No, no, mature, mature! Wise and learned!"
Nooooooooooooooooooooo
I’m utterly indifferent to JJ Abrams doing the directing on this travesty, because the very concept is quite possibly the lamest concept for a Star Trek movie there could ever be.
Yes, that includes going to the middle of the galaxy to find God, and a MacGuffin-cum-energy-ribbon-thing that lets Kirk and Picard work together in a boring quest to make more money for Paramount (although crash-landing the Enterprise D’s saucer section was pretty nifty).
If this film is actually worth seeing when it comes out, I will probably die of shock.
Re: Nooooooooooooooooooooo
You are more likely to die of shlock when viewing the movie. It is easy to get the two words confused.
To Boldly Go…
… where Brannon and Braga have gone before.
They could have put Manny Coto in charge and done a Romulan-war trilogy with Archer, Shran (the best character on Enterprise), and the Tellarites.
It could have actually been at least good. Probably not great, but something worth watching. And they could have done it for a modest budget.
But NOOOO. Let’s try ANOTHER prequel universe so we can mess with continuity some more and further alienate Trek fans.
New actors as Kirk and Spock? I just can’t see it.
