seems to me
that the first book in itself would make a great movie. i still haven’t gotten around to reading the subsequent books, but ender’s game seems to stand very well on it’s own.
Re: seems to me
then again, the first dune book seems to stand pretty well on it’s own… but only until you read the rest of them :)

I agree… in the first book, and also it’s parallel, you become quite attached to the characters. The subsequent novels dive right in and become much more philosophical than I think Hollywood would want to deal with. I recently got my non geek boyfriend hooked on Orson Scott Card and he is loving it.
All I want is the Ringworld
I wonder how many more years it will take to see
RINGWORLD: THE MOVIE
on posters ?
Hum…

It looks like the past leak may have
angered the oweners of the rights enough to make sure they sit on those rights not making the movie for as
long as they can. The good news is, by the time the rights are available again, the technology should be in
place to do it right on a small budget.
