It’s time for Dave’s annual “tinker with the database” session. Read on for the latest round of stuff he broke.

Captain Sulu Goes Where No Man Has Gone Before
rickyjames writes, George Takei, aka Sulu of Star Trek : TOS, is now one of the “continuing regular gang” on the new Howard Stern / Sirus satellite radio show. A mere 40 minutes into the show, Takei was discussing his first gay experience… I don’t think it’s news that Takei is gay, but the fact that he’s shilling for Stern might be amusing to some. But, heck, let’s face it, he does have one heckuva radio voice.
"Resurrection Ship, Part 1" – Galactica Discussion
When last we left the intrepid crew of Galactica, a few months back, Adama and Cain were at each other’s throats. Have things improved? Well, probably not.
This is a (slightly late, sorry) discussion piece, a more detailed review will be forthcoming in a couple days.
Discussion: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
If you haven’t read the book, you may not want to read this either, because the discussion will be full of spoilery goodness. (I actually just made sure of that. The very first comment WILL spoil you.)
(Aside: You don’t have to use the spoiler tags in this discussion. You shouldn’t be here unless you’ve read the book and are willing to be spoiled. You Have Been Warned.)
Review: Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
So the moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived, after some 27 years. Was it worth the wait?
Note: while the review tries to be spoiler-free, it’s almost a given that spoilers will abound in the discussion. Like it matters, because you’re all gonna see this movie no matter what I write.

Hitchhiker’s Trailer Online
At least as of right now, if you go look at Amazon.com’s home page, you can view a (really teensy) version of the full theatrical trailer for Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. (Flash plug-in required.) If anyone has a bigger version, post a comment; we can provide hosting if required.
Welcome to malfoy!
You may have noticed the site being slow and weird and flaky. Or not. Either way, read on for boring technical details.
Fiziko: Please read the comments for an important message that I can’t deliver to you any other way at this time.

Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash ?
This may be a bit off for here, but it’s just so darn cool… Sam Raimi is
reportedly working on what may be the ulitmate horror comedy, pitting Freddy Kreuger and Jason Voorhees against the legendary Ash from “Evil Dead.”
The Life Of Reilly
Got a few hours to kill? Want to read about all the sordid saga of Ben Reilly, the “other” Spider-Man? Tired of leading questions like these?
Check out The Life of Reilly, a series of 35 (!) columns detailing the whole long sordid “Clone Saga,” the folks in Marketing pushing the whole thing, all the stories that Could Have Been, DVD-style commentary from writers and editors of the Spider-Man comics of the era, and generally a whole lot of time-killing goodness.
Review: Shrek 2
Meeting the parents is such a pain…
(Note: This review sorta spoils the first movie, which you really should go rent if you haven’t because it’s funny. Just trust me on this. Go see it, then go see this one.)
