Stolen from one of our users’ personal sites: The folks working on the forthcoming Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy movie have put up the (inevitable?)
movie blog. Not much there yet, as the movie is still in the fairly early stages of production, but this might be a fun site to bookmark.

“Hellboy” Delayed?
Even though it’s set to be released tomorrow, there is now some concern as to whether the much-anticipated movie “Hellboy” will open as scheduled.

Harry Potter 8?
In an online interview, J.K. Rowling
allegedly kinda sorta hinted that maybe there might be an eighth Harry Potter book, after maintaining for years that she would stop at seven.
How much weight should be placed on incredibly vague quotes like this one, that are probably being taken out of context anyway? And how many more years do we have to wait before we see the sixth and seventh books? (I’d start a betting pool, but there’s a good chance many of us will die of old age before there’s a winner.)
Strange Days At Blake Holsey High
So the girlfriend has gotten me into this weird kids’ show that has some SF-ish elements. Can an educational (maybe) show count as SF? (Heck, Doctor Who started as educational, but that went out the window pretty quickly…)

Historical Strangeness
Due to unforseen technical difficulties, some comments have been resurrected from beyond the grave.
I typoed a database update, and a couple hundred comments from about three years ago were updated so that the database thinks those comments were made today.
Shouldn’t hurt anything, but it might look weird (especially if you look at the stats page and see a bunch of comments made on articles from three years ago.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Does the Bureau need a makeover?
Let’s face it, folks, this site is kinda ugly.

Review: The Matrix Revolutions
No one can be told how odd Revolutions is… you have to see it for yourself.
But that makes for a pretty short review. Read on. There are minor spoilers in the review itself (nothing that you can’t guess
from having seen Reloaded and the trailers) but in all likelihood the discussion will spoil you more than trick-or-treating.
New Hitchhiker’s Radio Series!
Hey, we’ve got “42” in the name of our site. I can’t pass this one up.
According to the BBC, the third Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy novel, “Life, the Universe, and Everything,” will be adapted in spring 2004, with the fourth and fifth books being combined into one series for later in the year. This appears to be straight adaptations of the books, rather than a logical sequel to the original radio plays, but I don’t really care. New Hitchhiker’s Radio! Time to move to London so I can hear them!
Tru Calling Discussion – “Pilot”
So Eliza Dushku (Faith, from Buffy, in case you didn’t know) has herself a new SF-ish show. Between this, Buffy, and her role in “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,” is she turning into the next genre sex doll?
Oh yeah, and what’d you think of this new show on Fox?
Simpsons, Samurai Jack win Emmys
… and you thought the Emmys weren’t until next month. Well, most of them aren’t, but the “juried” Emmy awards (mostly technical stuff) have already been announced. Hank Azaria won his third Emmy for his work on The Simpsons, and the folks from Cartoon Network’s “Samurai Jack” won an award that I don’t even really know what it’s for. Details at CNN.
