Buffy: Season 3 will be released by 20th Century Fox Home Video on January 7, 2003. Looks like January could be another crowded month for TV releases.

Okay, so only about three readers will care about this,
but I’m one of those three. :-)

WHSL, channel 46, will be carrying Buffy The Vampire
Slayer and Enterprise from now ’til April,
in the not-so-hot Friday night timeslot. (Hey, it’s better than the “musical chairs” timeslot they had last year.) Read

Sci-Fi Wire has the full scoop. Basically it will contain all the songs from the show “Once More, With Feeling” and some unreleased material. It will be available September 24th.

Dave Simkins, a recent addition to the crew of
Angel that had concerned me before, is off
the show, according to this
AICN article. He left over creative differences,
and his replacement will be promoted up from within.
Angel‘s fourth season premiers on October 6.

Sci-Fi Wire has a pair of Buffy-related articles, including this one about doing an eighth season of Buffy without the title character, and this one about some characters who may be returning next year.

Marti Noxon and Nicholas Brendan disagreed about
whether the seventh season of Buffy will be the last
one. According to this
Sci-Fi Wire article, Anthony Stewart Head agrees
with Nicholas Brendan, and predicts that the seventh
season will be the last one.
