Review: The Marvels Project: Birth of the Superheroes
The (first?) eight issues of The Marvels Project appeared in 2009-2010 to celebrate the company’s anniversary. The collected graphic novel hit shelves this year. It takes a new yet familiar look at the early years of Timely Comics the Marvel Universe.

Scott Pilgrim: Volumes 4-6
Lisa: Oh my god. You killed him.

Last week, we reviewed the first three volumes of Bryan Lee O’Malley’s acclaimed graphic novel series, which inspired the film.
Scott’s pilgrimage concluded in three more manga-sized editions, published between 2007 and 2010.

Review: Scott Pilgrim, Volumes 1-3
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World seems poised for cult status, a moderately successful film doing far better as a home release. Given its renewed success, we’ve decided to review the original six graphic novels in two parts, and later, the film adaptation.
