Three episodes have aired in the BBC so far. Should I bother watching it when it comes to Canada?

x00 writes, According to a BBC News article, Russell T Davies has said that budget constraints keep Doctor Who on Earth. He also stated “The programmes that do show alien planets are not prime-time programmes”. Personally I happen to disagree with him. And the episodes “The Impossible Planet” and “Satan’s Pit” were possibly the best episodes of the series. Oh, and as they mentioned in Doctor Who Confidential, the Pit was actually filmed in a quarry.

Another Doctor Who spin-off has been announced. In addition to Torchwood, Whovians will be treated to the further adventures of Sarah Jane, who previously appeared in Doctor Who and K9 and Company.

The final episode of new-series two. May be mildly spoilerish.

Doctor Who returns for a Christmas episode featuring the impressionist Catherine Tate in The Runaway Bride, and then for a third series in spring 2007, which is just starting filming.
