Christian Bale is Batman
Ain’t It Cool News and
Cinescape are
both reporting that Christian Bale has been cast as
Batman in Christopher Nolan’s Batman movie, which is
being developed under the title Batman:
Intimidation. At this stage of the game,
Batman Forever was still called Batman
Triumphant, so that title may change. (Someone

Crossover Hell: Freddy Versus Jason
The long-rumored ultimate milking of two long-dry franchisesTM will apparently be released on August 15th. The official site may be found here.

Alexius
writes, There’s A Fan Film Called ‘Batman:
Dead End‘ Which Seems To Be making The Rounds On The

Well, Watch It And Tell Me What You Think. I won’t be
able to watch this or any quicktime until I get around to installing
that Crossover plugin. What do you guys think?

Reloaded. You can have a look at them here.
The fact that the menu art is even considered newsworthy says a
lot about the fans of this series.

Tired of films with few virtues beyond stuff blowin’ up good? Looking for a film that adds elements of the mythic to everyday life, instead of a bloated myth that add characters emotionally unlike anyone who ever existed? Check out Whale Rider, inspired by Witi Ihimaera’s novel (which may be purchased from Amazon.com or Amazon.ca)
Nerds on Film
We’re not talking your SF/Fantasy/Comic-Book/Anime stuff here. Those films get reviewed on a regular basis here at Bureau42. We’re talking about movies that put nerds, geeks, freaks, and the like—y’know, people like your friends—on camera.
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
