Arrow Discussion: “Eleven-Fifty-Nine”
Darhk gets his power back, an ally proves deceptive, and Team Arrow loses a member.
Will this loss be permanent?
Arrow Review: “Beacon of Hope”
Team Arrow experiences difficulties with both bees and a H.I.V.E.– and the fact that Mr. Terrific is, for a multitalented genius, kind of a doofus.
Arrow Discussion: “Broken Hearts”
“The difference between insanity and belief lies in the number of believers.”
The same might be said of the difference between romantic/erotic obsession and love.
In addition to the pithy quotation, this week’s ep of Arrow brings back Carrie Cutter aka Cupid. While she targets high-profile weddings, Quentin Lance takes the stand, Darhk is down, but not out, and Felicity leaves Ollie at the altar. Meanwhile, in the past and on the island, Ollie and Taiana find Reiter’s “ultimate power,” which looks like an old-fashioned mascot for the electric company.

Arrow Discussion: “Taken”
Welcome to Star City, where Canaries can’t fly but a Vixen can, Evil Geniuses have obvious weaknesses and the inability to see through even more obvious disguises, and miracle cures can happen.
This week brings much drama, some decent fight scenes, and at least two turning points in the year’s story arc. Discussion below.
DC-TV Discussion: Arrow, “Code of Silence” and Legends of Tomorrow, “Fail-Safe”
Weather-related damage took out our internet and cable last night. Feel free to post your own reviews and comments on this week’s Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow here.
Discussion: Arrow’s “Sins of the Father” and Legends’ “White Knights”
Due to laziness, illness, and a general lack of discussion on these shows, I’m posting them together this week.

Arrow Discussion: “Unchained”
Some characters from the past return, Felicity tries to convince people she can handle a large corporation, and a calculating villain comes to town.
Arrow Discussion: “A.W.O.L.”
Felicity battles her old self, and gains a sobriquet; Diggle’s family drama continues, and, yeah, Ollie and the gals really look like a posse of insane trick-or-treaters when they head out to battle crime in Star City.
So what did we think of Arrow “A.W.O.L.”?
Arrow Discussion: “Blood Debts”
Arrow returns, with Ollie back to his earlier methods. The Team gets some good moments, and we learn that musical instruments are bullet-proof. While the episode begins with the flash-forward that ended that last one, discovering the truth about Felicity’s future would require an Oracle.
