Comic Television Discussion – Week beginning April 23th
There’s a big name documentary about how conflicts continue forever because groups of people are constantly seeking to address wrongs that didn’t actually happen to them coming out in theater this week, and I have been distracted by that. However, their Dark Cousins are still on television. Our favorite devil takes in a ballet, our second favorite Girl of Steel takes on her boss’s dad’s mind, one of the speedsters invites a favorite guest star back to keep up the strongest pun/title game since Legends’ season finishes, Supergrandpa sings lead for a Guns ‘n Roses hit, and Arrow has to find some new teammates.
The Marvelous shows give us more trippy confusion on Legion (this time, from Syd) and the Agents face Die Hard in a Lighthouse. The teens who borrowed their names from Archie comics have a violent manhunt and rage against the police.

The Terror Review: “A Mercy”
This strange, surreal episode so entirely changes the direction of the show it requires a stand-alone review.
The ships remain trapped, madness encroaches, and the men party like it’s the last night of their lives.
Comic Television Discussion – Week beginning April 15th
On the CW, we are Dropping Content as the seasons come to a close, so I have revamped these posts to include some more comic television! I am not going to say I got everything based on a comic, but I added the ones I watch. If there’s another comic show you like, please comment and I’ll include it. I’ll throw any streaming series up as they show up.
For our Debut Catalog, Lucifer thinks he is going on nocturnal missions, Supergirl returns bringing Laurie Metcalf with her. The Flash continues fighting against intelligence, Black Lightning ends his first season with a showdown of black vs. white, Supergranad is still trapped in a terrorist cell, and Arrow has expanding businesses.
From the House of Ideas, Legion is still crazy (and that description probably won’t change) and the Agents take a trip to Rome to stop Malficent’s daughter from breaking the world. In Riverdale, the “teens” get prepare to put on their bloody musical.

The Terror Review: Episodes 3-5
We’ve reached the midpoint of the… Season? Series? and the situation grows increasingly bleak for the men of the expedition–
–at least, for the ones who remain alive.
The Expanse Review: “Fight or Flight”
The Expanse returns! Season Two improved on Season One, establishing the show as possibly the best, more-or-less pure SF series on television.
DC Television Week 20 Discussion
This week, the disasters, climaxes, and seasons reach their peak before they Don’t Continue for the summer. We see the Flash finally return as our Legends wrap up their season, Black Lightning gives us the penultimate episode for its inaugural season. On Legends, we see everything you’d predict from a season finale. Flash shows us how different Barry and Ralph are. Black Lightning sets up our Tobias fight. Krypton has Seg consider joining terrorists. Arrow shows us just how much Oliver is screwing up.

The Terror: “The Ladder” and “Punished, as a Boy”
We’ll have a review next week, after the season/series’ midpoint. For those of you who need to discuss the increasingly horrific and brutal sage and its increasingly horrific implications, we have this post.
Episodes three and four bring us Northern Lights, reflections on Imperialism and exploration, flogging, an increasingly active monster, and an increasingly isolated leader.
DC Television Week 19 Discussion
This week is a week off for half of the Arrowverse, but special guest Denethor Crashes the Legend’s episode as John Noble appears and pretends to be the voice of the character he voices. I think the Legends are turning “meta” into a weapon. Black Lightning reaches the painful point of his allegory. Supergrandpa begins his new job. Meanwhile, Arrow showcases dating woes.

DC Television Week 18 Discussion
I got a bit distracted this week with work, so please excuse any delayed conversation that I have caused. On Lucifer, Maze goes bad. Well, Maze goes back to being evil… er? The Legends find out Ava’s secret origin. Black Lightning works with the children more, Arrow is not working with the Avenger’s villain, but some new Deadly Contractors. On Krypton, Supergrandpa adjust to his new life as an orphan.
