DC Television Week 16 Discussion

The Date Convention I have been using isn’t that accurate as it was when there only four shows and were starting at the same time.  This week, we get to see Lucifer act as a groupie for a superstar, The Legends visit one of the first big superstars, The Flash swaps out with Iris so she can be super, Black Lightning deals with his family and their super powers, and we get a preview of the new super show Krypton.  (Arrow and Supergirl are still taking a break from being super.)

DC Television Week 15 Discussion

The Daft Characters of our shows continue their separate story lines.  Lucifer gives the scientific method a try.  Legends visits a 60’s era crime drama, Flash has a stopped time episode, Black Lightning develops its new hero, and while I haven’t seen it at the time of its airing, I have to wonder if the title of this episode of Arrow spoils the episode.

DC Television Week 12 Discussion

Our Dear Comic based shows today bring us Lucifer getting married, but not to who you’d expect.  Supergirl works for exactly what you’d expect.  The Flash figures the only way it can get campier is to go smaller.  Black Lightning buries last week’s victims.  The Legends are still stuck in tomorrow, and Arrow goes all in.

DC Television Week 10 Discussion

This week we see the return of our DC Arrowverse, mostly.  Lucifer is still hiding back in December, Supergirl comments on just how many of these shows we have now, The Flash gives us a tiny episode for much cheaper just to see if we like it, Black Lightning’s first appearance deals with showing up again, The Legends of Tomorrow are in the future, and Arrow is bisected.

Review: Crisis on Earth X, Parts One and Two

The most ambitious (thus far) of the CSDCTVU crossovers takes place this week. ‘’ll be reviewing the first two eps here; Lex Pendragon will take over with Parts Three and Four.

The Big Day arrives for Barry and Iris. Several invitees encounter trouble getting to town. Two guests are squabbling, while two others have a too-public debate about their relationship. One guest acts like a drunken obnoxious doof. Two others drink a little too much and wake up in bed together.

In short, it begins like every wedding ever—until the point where it resembles every superhero wedding ever, and Nazis, accompanied by alt-reality versions of some familiar heroes, crash the party at the most predictable point imaginable….
