Century City gets the axe

Rumor: Enterprise Gets (Limited) Renewal
SyFy Portal has the scoop. Basically UPN has signed off on 12 (half the usual) episodes for next season. That could be extended to 24 if it can perform well. Apparently the new direction is working for the ratings, or has at least stopped the bleeding.
It is, however, unclear as to whether or not Berman and Braga will still be running the show.
“Hellboy” Delayed?
Even though it’s set to be released tomorrow, there is now some concern as to whether the much-anticipated movie “Hellboy” will open as scheduled.

instead of Wednesday, thanks to a ratings dive. How

Firefly joining the Navy!

writes, The department for Morale, Welfare and
Recreation(MWR) in the American Navy have made a deal
with Fireflyfans, who’ve donated 250 DVD sets of the
series. So through the Navy’s “Afloat” library
program, US sailors around the world will be able to
enjoy Firefly during their downtime (while Joss
Whedon is working on the motion picture). How’s
that for good PR? Maybe Universal and Fox will take
note of how much money Firefly fans are willing to
put into the show.
