Doctor Who may appear on the big screen, according to series writer Steven Moffat. He’s done so twice before, in the 1960s, though the earlier films were not in continuity with the series, and re-imagined the character’s backstory for Peter Cushing.

Another Man of Steel?
Warner Brothers has announced changes to their forthcoming movie-making plans, and they include another Superman film, one which will “re-introduce” the character and make him “darker.”
The plan sounds half-right.
