It’s being plastered all over every other SF news site on the Web, so I might as well add to the glut… the teaser trailer for Episode 2 will be attached to “Monsters, Inc.” according to the starwars.com press release.

Anonymous Coward writes, I met one of the
actors from SG1 at a Sci-Fi/Horror convention
yesterday. He told me that in addition to the
upcoming sixth season airing, they have gotten
the OK to start planning a feature film. I could
not find any additional official info on the SG1
website. I don’t want to mention the actor’s name
because I don’t want to get him in trouble in
case this is a leaked secret. I read this
rumour a week ago or so. It was probably on Ain’t It Cool
News, home of one of the Web’s worst search
engines. If anyone knows of another site that’s
reporting this, post the URL below.

With all the new laws congress is inacting, I could just come over there and make you click “Read More” but it’s so much more satisfying when you give yourself over to me willingly.
Muhahahaa! :::ahem::: Sorry, too much Mtn. Dew today.

The IGN FilmForce has an article here talking about two Marvel Comics movie properties involving Ray Park, Iron Fist and X-Men 2. No mention of the other big Marvel properties, though. (And I was so hoping to somehow work in that Sam Raimi, director of Spider-Man, is celebrating his 42nd birthday today.)

I picked up The Phantom Menace on DVD
this week. Here’s my review of the movie, and my
comments on the DVD itself.

…And you thought sticking your hands into the mail was dangerous…
Use that oh-so familiar Read More link if you know what’s good for ya.

That’s right, it’s a review of episode 2, not episode 1. You can find it here. It’s on Ain’t It Cool News, so it might be a good faker pulling Harry’s leg, but Harry has explained why he posted it anyway. It’s apparantly pretty spoiler-filled, so I read as far as “This is the Star Wars you’ve been waiting for.” and then stopped. Read it if you want the spoilers, but please warn us if you post spoilers in your comments.

Sorry this is so late gang. I taped it on Wednesday, then I tried to…oh like you all really care about all that. Just read on for more psychedelic fun.

Because I’m too lazy to make each one a separate article… Empire Online reports that, contrary to the custom of cutting a book down to size for the film, the movie will in fact have a scene added that wasn’t originally in the book. And, for any of our readers (or their older kids) in .uk, they’re trying to cast the roles of “Young Hagrid” and Tom Riddle. Contact info if you can use it… And, I don’t know if this is news, but the first batch of toys is available at major retailers everywhere. Anyone who acquires an extra Dumbledore figure is urged to email me soonest.
