Buffy back… on Angel?

writes, The latest TV Guide gives a brief look into the
coming season. Spike’s back, which we all knew. And Buffy
herself may show up for a two part episode during sweeps. So,
was anybody not expecting that? I’ll be interesting in
learning how Spike comes back, given how he departed on
Angel. Of course, I’m sure the spoilers are out there, but I’d
rather find out as Whedon wants us to.

Buffy Season 5 on DVD this year

The season four set of Buffy The Vampire Slayer
includes an insert advertising season five on DVD in 2003. This
could mean that this becomes the first odd-numbered season to
make it out in time for Christmas. It may also mean they’re
accelerating the release schedule now that they don’t have to
worry about overtaking the original TV broadcasts.

Variety Says Angel Renewed – Spike In, Cordelia Out

Anonymous Coward writes, Aint-It-Cool-News is relaying that Variety reports that WB has renewed Angel. Reports are that James Marsters is joining the cast as Spike, Charisma Carpenter is leaving. (A check of Variety’s web site confirms the renewal and that Marsters in joining the cast. Alas, the rest of the story is Subscribers Only.) This was mentioned in the ABC lineup article, but it’s worth pointing out to those not interested in that network (or NBC for that matter, whose actual announcement was made and linked to.)

Buffy Discussion: “Touched” (New)

I think this is the fourth ep. from the end. All you buffy fans out there enjoy! (and on behalf of the other authors and myself, our apologies for missing the other Sunday discussion forums. With Fiz away for the week it got forgotten (even though he reminded us).
