The season finale draws nigh. The unofficial word is that Angel has been renewed for next season, but no official announcement has been made.

This rerun will be the last of the final season. Starting next week, we’ll have new episodes until the series finale on May 20 (or, in my area, May 19. Yay Canada!) We first discussed it here.

Some of last week’s questions are bound to be answered. How many new ones will turn up?

This is the first new episode in a while. It’s good, and I think it removes all doubt that they’re building to the series finale. (NOTE: Tonight’s Smallville review may not turn up until tomorrow morning. It’s a busy day for me.)

We’ve seen yet another sci-fi/fantasy child that ages to an adult in seconds and then suddenly continues at a normal rate. Let’s see if the rest of the episode can make up for that.

This was the last appearance of the Watchers’ Council, which we originally discussed here. Next week’s episode will be a new one.

Now we get to learn how the gang sorted things out last week, I hope.
