Star Wars: The Clone Wars in Theaters This Fall
chad writes, Star Wars fans worldwide are in celebration mode. LucasFilm has announced that an animated Star Wars feature film, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, will be released in North American theaters on Friday, August 15, 2008. The theatrical release will be followed by a related television series on the Cartoon Network and TNT. Long live Star Wars! More Star Wars!

chad writes, On September 12th, Fox will be releasing the original theatrical versions of the first Star Wars trilogy on DVD. While this is just a way for George Lucas to extort even more money from his fan base, it will be nice to finally see Greedo shoot second.
