No, it’s not quite Green Arrow’s take on A Christmas Carol, though Ollie does get visited by three ghosts that force him to self-reflection as he takes on villains with actual superpowers. The episode ends with an origin and a key revelation, before the show disappears until 2014.
Some bigger question on everyone’s mind: Will Roy Harper get up to speed? Will DC try to make gold having its smallscreen heroes save the world from Solomon Grundy? And can this version of the DCU support Flash?

Arrow Review: “The Scientist”
It’s been awhile since we’ve reviewed an episode of Arrow, but this week, with Marvel’s S.H.I.E.L.D. in hiatus and Wonder Woman confirmed for the next DC movie, we thought we’d take a closer look at the show that’s been expanding the DC ‘verse on television.
Arrow Discussion: “State vs Queen”
Several people are down for the Count, as Ollie and the trial become the focus once more.
Arrow Discussion: “Deep Your Enemies Closer”
The gang’s off to Russia to rescue Lyla, and Dig takes center stage.
Meanwhile, in the real-ish world, rumours fly that Steven R. McQueen will turn up as Nightwing in a future Arrow. I’m not certain how that will work.
