Marvel’s Inhumans gives us the tale of a royal family with super powers who have lived in secret on the moon and their first, forced visit to Earth. I haven’t heard much in the way of glowing reviews, but below is my Bureau 42 review.

DC Television Week 5 Discussion
For our weekly foray into the Distinguished Competition’s small-screen super-heroes: Supergirl is all about the girlfriends, and similarly The Flash primarily portrays the partying princesses. Meanwhile Legends and Arrow have to run some errands and take gifts (a Deathstroke and a Mack) back to the store. I may be a bit behind and have misinterpreted the synopsis, which appear after the cut.
The Gifted – “got your siX”
The Gifted gets to an episode number where they can use the X in the number for the capital letter in their title. To celebrate, we are treated to yet another hit and run strike against Sentinel Services.
DC Television Week 4 Discussion
Supergirl becomes Xenu, The Flash meets another DC fan-favorite, Legends visits another 80s film, and Arrow lets the characters switch seats.
The Flash Review: “Elongated Journey into Night”
I stopped watching The Flash regularly when it became too mopey, but I finally caught up with it this week, with the in-CWTCDCU introduction of Elongated Man. Flawed though the episode may be, “Elongated Journey Into Night” showcases the gradual return to the comic-book tone that made the first season so appealing.
The Gifted – “boXed In”
Our Gifted mutants continue their escape from the Sentinels of last episode in “boXed In.” I would have gone for a joke about being boxed into the tropes of the genre, but they do seem to be well aware of their box and are deliberately trying to either play on it or to move past it. Besides, I don’t have to make a joke about the title, I’m not…nevermind.
DC Television Week 3 Discussion
Three weeks in! Supergirl fights for some more CGI budget on Mars, The Flash gives up on physics entirely and just listens to Frank Sinatra’s show tunes, and I haven’t caught Legends or Arrow yet so I can’t make fun of them. (Episode descriptions below the cut.)
The Gifted – “eXit strategy”
“eXit strategy” is our fourth episode of our biggest name non-testudines mutants’ television offering. This time, our resistance fighters take the fight to recapture Polaris and Baron Von Reed from Sentinel Services.
DC Television Week 2 Discussion
Our heroes have returned, and face low powered psychics, homicidal technopaths, bearded ladies, saber toothed tiger, and local government. (Episode descriptions below the cut.)
The Gifted Review: “eXodus”
The Gifted’s third episode, eXodus, takes us on a trip outside of the compound as Reed deals with Sentinel Services to see his family, and his wife seeks family in order to see Reed.
