Joss Whedon develops S.H.I.E.L.D. for TV
The long rumoured Marvel TV series set in the continuity of their movie universe has a name and a developer. As reported here and elsewhere, Joss is working with brother Jed and sister-in-law Maurissa Tancharoen to develop S.H.I.E.L.D. for television, and will direct the pilot himself if the schedule permits. I’m already sold.
Whedon not just directing “The Avengers”
It’s been long rumoured that Joss Whedon would be directing The Avengers for its release in 2012. Based on these San Diego Comic Con quotes, it sounds like he’ll be writing it as well. I have only one question remaining: how soon can I buy my tickets?
