Heroes and mine are making it back to the small screen
before they make it onto the big screen! As reported
by The Futon Critic: The Sci Fi Channel has
landed the repeat rights to all 15 hours of the
short-lived FOX series (and basis of the upcoming
“Serenity” feature film). The network’s July schedule
lists the series as joining its Friday lineup on July
22 at 7:00/6:00c where it will precede original
episodes of “Stargate SG-1,” “Stargate Atlantis” and
“Battlestar Galactica.”
Movie Discussion – “Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist”
I have very little faith in this project. A genre
prequel to a 1970s blockbuster that comes out the day
after Star Wars? Releasing this in this time
seems to me more like a bid to catch the overflow
traffic when Star Wars sells out. The last
time I noticed a movie getting released in this way it
was Lawnmower Man 2.

Weekly Comics Discussion – Wednesday, May 18, 2005
This week’s shipping
list includes such notables as Green Lantern
Secret Files 2005, which is the item I plan to
take home. Also of interest are Daredevil
#73, Exiles #64, Giant Size
Marvel, Marvel Knights 4 #18, and
Ultimate X-Men #59.
Extra-long “Smallville”
Just a reminder that tonight’s Smallville
season finale is in a 90 minute time slot, and will
include an eight minute preview of Batman
Begins.
Incon-sith-stencies
As Sith opens, this article does a pretty good job of summarizing the main inconsistencies created by the Star Wars prequels.
