The shipping
list for this week includes such gems as
Green Lantern Rebirth #4, Daredevil
#70, and Essential Luke Cage Vol. 1.
Other items of interest include Astonishing X-Men
#8, She-Hulk #12, JLA Classified
#4, and trade paperbacks for X-Men: Day of
the Atom, Sabretooth: Open Season,
Batman: War Games Act One, and new printings
of three volumes of Sin City, no doubt meant
to ensure that related product is available when the
movie comes out later this year.
Hitchhiker’s Trailer Online
At least as of right now, if you go look at Amazon.com’s home page, you can view a (really teensy) version of the full theatrical trailer for Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. (Flash plug-in required.) If anyone has a bigger version, post a comment; we can provide hosting if required.
Tru Calling to return
y42
writes, Well, I’m not sure this tidbit is worthy
of a whole article, but I saw this on FOX’s FAQ page:
4. Where is “TRU CALLING” – when will the show be
back on the air?
ANSWER:
TRU CALLING will return to the schedule with ALL-NEW
episodes sometime in 2005!!
I had heard that the show’s return would depend on
DVD sales. I guess they sold.

Movie Review – “Daredevil: Director’s Cut”
Be warned: This review spoils the theatrical cut,
assuming you’ve already seen it. There are minor
spoilers for the Director’s Cut, too, but most are of
the “this bit is missing and/or different” variety.

Weekly DVD Picks
There may be slim pickings in the non-genre stuff
this week, but the genre is looking good.

Movie Review – “Harvey”
One of the classics. I may be bending the genre
rules just a bit, but this is a great movie.

Superman is a dick!
The recent widespread discovery of Supermanisadick resulted in the site being shut down due to data transfer issues, so I didn’t bother posting this last week. The site now redirects to temporary hosting at National Lampoon— but return again soon. NatLamp’s version doesn’t include some of secondary pages which I found even funnier than the main show.
So, is Superman a dick? Examine the evidence….
Movie Review – “Catwoman”
I’ve finally seen this comic adaptation. I finally understand all this talk about the biggest mistake of Halle Berry’s career.
