more than a month away you can catch a brand new
special online at the BBC here
done for charity.
A great preview of things to come.
A dead boy uses white noise to communicate with his

Cinescape has a list of their picks for the Top
25 Summer Blockbusters. Genre picks are all over
the place, as well as some debatable choices.
(Caddyshack and The Thing made the
list, but Ghostbusters didn’t?) Take a look,
and let us know how you’d have picked them.
The last new episode until December ran last night.
Next week, it’s a rerun of the fourth season plastic

writes, According to the Mirror, Billie
Piper has stunned TV bosses by quitting her role as
Rose Tyler, the Doctor’s sidekick. She will be in
series2, but not 3. The last time I heard, the
BBC hadn’t commented on this. The rumour has been out
a few days, but I was hoping to get official
confirmation or denial before posting. (If you’ll
recall, a similar rumour came out just after they
switched Doctors. Of course, it could also be that
they talked her out of it that time, but not this
time.)
Babylon 5: The Legend Of The Rangers will
come to DVD on March 14, 2006, according to this
TVShowsOnDVD.com article.
This week’s shipping
list includes several items I’ve ordered. I’ll be
taking home Astonishing X-Men Vol. 2 in TPB
form, Essential X-Factor Vol. 1,
Fantastic Four #532, Green Lantern
#5, Marvel Milestones: Ultimate Spider-Man,
Ultimate X-Men, Microman and Mantor, Ultimate
Spider-Man #86, and Ultimate X-Men Vol.
12 in its TPB form. Other Marvel notables being
released include Books of Doom #1 (of 6), a
second printing of Friendly Neighbourhood
Spider-Man #1, Marvel Must Haves:
Spider-Man / Black Cat: The Evil That Men Do #1-3
(recommended to those who didn’t catch them several
years ago, as the series will finally get finished
over the next few months), and Thing #1 by
writer Dan Slott. DC is releasing All Star
Superman #1, which I’m betting will be the top
seller of the month (or, at worst, second to
Infinite Crisis), Mad Kids #1 (a Mad
magazine aimed at a younger crowd), and Supergirl
#3.
If we’re going to see long term story arc development,
tonight’s episode is bound to have it. Also, I have
to say that this is the first WB series that’s made me
want a soundtrack album, and yet somehow, it’s the
first that hasn’t told me exactly who I was listening
to at the end of the episode. I’m not sure we’re
going to get one.
Another week has gone by. How many bikinis were
visible last night?
The new version of The Night Stalker has been
cancelled effective immediately. That means that, of
the nine produced episodes, only six will have been
broadcast. This week, a two hour edition of
Primetime Live will appear in its time slot.
