Night Stalker Discussion – “Pilot”
The new version of The Night Stalker premiers tonight, starring Stuart Townsend as Kolchak. (The season premier of Smallville is also on tonight, but we’ll go with a review rather than discussion column. Expect that tomorrow morning.)

JLU Discussion – “Chaos at the Earth’s Core / To Another Shore”
Justice League Unlimited continues its run on
the Cartoon Network.
Boston.com’s Top 50 Sci-Fi Series
Boston.com has produced this list of the Top 50 Sci-Fi TV Shows of all time. As usual, the list is being disputed by sci-fi fans everywhere. My personal irritations include the inclusion of Star Trek: Voyager, Earth: Final Conflict (which made #50) and Andromeda, while omitting Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Angel (though Buffy placed five spots beneath Andromeda), and Red Dwarf. Other notable shows that aren’t included on the list are Robotech, Time Tunnel, and Charlie Jade.
Weekly DVD Picks – Tuesday, September 27, 2005

Ghost Whisperer Discussion – “Pilot”
One of two high profile genre shows that have not yet
launched this season, Ghost Whisperer stars
Jennifer Love Hewitt as someone who can communicate
with the dead. (The second genre show that hasn’t
started yet is The Night Stalker, which
premieres on Thursday, Sept. 29.)
LOST Season premiere discussion
Anonymous Coward writes, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
PLEASE :D :D :D We’ll be posting discussions for
most genre shows again this year. LOST is
one of them.

Hulk Visionaries: Peter David Vol. 2, New
Avengers #10, Supreme Power: Hyperion

Supernatural Discussion – “Wendigo”
The second episode of the series, also directed by
David Nutter, was (in my mind, at least) less
impressive than the series premier. Still, I’ll keep
watching it, though I doubt I’ll have time to review
more than Smallville this season.
