This week’s episode focuses on the two societies, both run by madmen.

SFContario 3
SFContario 3 is a smaller con, but it means more attention can be given to everything it has to offer.
So goes the video, as well:

The Tinfoil Hat Crowd still won’t believe it.
Despite some negative science-funding news at the end of this post, we’re hearing hints that NASA plans to send people back to the moon– and beyond— in the near future.

These teenage girls have made a generator that runs on urine.
Forget Krypton:
DC may have identified the actual star that their fictional Krypton orbited, but it’s bested by “Super-Earth” HD 40307g, which is looking like a good place to search for life.
Serious breaking news and silly entertaining video below:
Arrow Review: “Damaged”
DC/WB’s breakout show fires off a somewhat weaker entry this time around, as Ollie plots to shake suspicion from himself. We do, however, learn more of his tortuous origins, we see the complexity of his plans, and we get a glimpse of Deathstroke.
The Walking Dead Review: “The Killer Within”
The Zombie Apocalypse will be broadcast live.

Okay, this one’s a promo for next weekend’s SFContario 3, in Toronto, Canada, with some nods to my appearances there. However, if that doesn’t interest you, click through for a lot of great video, including a Disney/Star Wars parody, an animated Axe-Cop, costumed con shenanigans, and some Doctor Who incarnations you might have missed.
Arrow Discussion: “An Innocent Man”
No review this week, but we’re interested in hearing what you have to say. At least one person knows Ollie’s secret now, and his initial response is not positive.
Halloween Review: Ghost Story

Novel Review: Ghost Story
Come and see the toys I left for you (448).
An exhausted man drives south. He has on board a reluctant passenger, a little girl. He ties her to himself when they sleep. He asks her questions she may or may not understand, questions about people who died, questions about the town he is fleeing.
He believes she is not what she appears to be.
We retreat into the past, into the ghost stories, where the answers to the mysteries raised by the introduction may be found.
The Walking Dead Review: “Walk With Me”
Rick Grimes and the gang at the prison are nowhere to be seen this week, as we catch up with Michonne, Andrea, and Merl, and we finally meet the Governor.
