As of this article, 2000 stories have been posted to Bureau 42. We were thinking of reviewing 2001: A Space Odyssey in time for the next story, but the movie was already reviewed, and we won’t have time to read the book before tomorrow’s weekly comics discussion. A review of the film version of 2010 will be ready in time for that story. We do this for ourselves as much as we do it for you, so if anybody out there has any requests about what they want to see on this site, let us know below. If you “Read more,” you’ll see some of the plans already in place.

Robot Monkeys! Robot Monkeys! Robot Monkeys!
We always knew it! Like Killer Clowns, these seemingly innocent cymbals, sorry, symbols of childhood past are Pure Evil!
Do you have further evidence regarding the Robot Monkey Conspiracy?
Science Fiction Museum
As you’ve probably heard, the Science Fiction Museum in Seattle now welcomes visitors. This article features a brief slideshow of exhibits.
What do you think should be included?
Upcoming game collection reviews
My copies of Mega Man Anniversary Collection
(containing Mega Man 1-8 and the two Mega Man Power
Battle games not previously released in North
America) and Midway Arcade Treasures
(including over 20 classic arcade games, including
Rampage, Paperboy, Joust,
Gauntlet, and others) shipped the other day.

games get individual reviews, or two reviews of the
collections?

Popular Science Scoring Categories
We don’t currently have a set of criteria to use when
grading Popular Science novels. However, one of our
recent requests is for one
such book, specifically Godël, Escher,
Bach. The categories we’re considering for
reviews right now are “originality,” “clarity,”
“structure,” “completeness,” “editing,”
“presentation” (ie. are there pretty pictures?), and
“overall.” Since it’ll likely take me some time to
get through this tome, we might as well give our
readers lots of time to be heard, and we’ll see if we
can reach some sort of consensus.
“Attention students! We will be holding a “Hulk Alert” drill later this week….
I was watching the news of Saddam Hussein’s arrest this morning, and after the more typical thoughts, the inevitable geeky one came to me…
