Don’t click this link unless you’re current on your Harry Potter novels. These snippets of publicity with author J.K. Rowling confirms that certain deceased characters are in fact quite deceased. Oh, and apparently she managed to spook Stephen King, which amuses me more than it should.
chad writes, According to this Reuters article, J.K. Rowling is going to kill off two characters in the final Harry Potter book. Notice, however, that Rowling says, “two die that I didn’t intend to die,” while the Reuters headline assume that only two will die. Rowling’s statement leaves room for additional deaths, provided she had intended from the beginning for them to happen.
No release date is given from the report from ABC News, but one can assume Summer of 2007 as a target.
Forget the first three films. This one is good.
Here’s the place to come for information about the new
Harry Potter book without running into spoilers.
If you haven’t read the book, you may not want to read this either, because the discussion will be full of spoilery goodness. (I actually just made sure of that. The very first comment WILL spoil you.)
(Aside: You don’t have to use the spoiler tags in this discussion. You shouldn’t be here unless you’ve read the book and are willing to be spoiled. You Have Been Warned.)
Doesn’t show much, but it does whet your appetite for November. Something to look forward to after Serenity.
Yeah, it’s a thin excuse for news, but it’s a slow day.
