Check out the first Webisodes of “Justice League: Gods and Monsters”

A new series from Bruce Timm, the guy that brought us the Batman, Superman, and Justice League cartoons from the 90’s and early 2000’s. This is an extremely dark take on the classic trio of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. While not rated in the usual film sense, I would put these in the PG-13 category (if not higher in some situations).

Each episode runs about six minutes. When the series wraps in July, a Direct-to-DVD movie will be released.

Dwayne McDuffie is dead

Newsarama is reporting that Dwayne McDuffie, founder of Milestone Comics, and who worked on the Static Shock, and Justice League animated series, as well as the films “Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths” and the newly released “All-Star Superman” has passed away. Currently the cause of death has not been released. Reportedly he was in good health earlier in the week, and had been scheduled to do a signing at Golden Apple comics tomorrow evening. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

Batman 3 Villains Revealed

It’s finally out, who will be the big bad guys in the Christopher Nolan’s third (and probably final) Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises.

Word is out that Anne Hathaway has been cast as Selina Kyle aka Catwoman. On top of that, Tom Hardy (Shinzon from Star Trek: Nemesis) will be cast as Bane.
