Charmed is pre-empted tonight, but it’s being
pre-empted by a classic fantasy film that we might as well make
room to talk about, anyway. The Wizard of Oz airs
on the WB tonight at 7/6c. Check local listings.
Webcomix
Knew this kid awhile back, at the end of the last century. Since then, he’s joined the rest of us (ok, some of us) in the working world but, turns out, he’s also been doing webcomix under the handle “Tailsteak.” Most of these include at least some genre element….

Book Review – “Nine Princes in Amber”
I’m finally getting around to reviewing the first fantasy novel

were trying to read them all, so there was always a race to
grab one of the books when it became available.

JMS is tempting fate again
Anonymous Coward writes, Over at SciFi wire they
are reporting
that JMS is in negotiations to create a new Babylon 5
series. I love
B5, but I’m a little concerned after watching the last B5
movie
(Legend of the Rangers) that maybe he should leave well

Weekly Comic Discussion
Highlights of this
week’s shipment: I’ll be picking up Superman /
Batman #4, Eternal #6 (the last issue,
thankfully), Exiles #38 (with Chuck Austen
returning), Supreme Power #5 (which is my
current favourite title), and Ultimate
Spider-Man #50, a jumping on point to an excellent
series. Also in the works: reviews of Essential
Howard the Duck Vol. 1 and Joss Whedon’s
Fray shouldn’t take too long, and reviews of
Sojourn Vol. 3 and Sojourn Vol. 4
should be up by the end of the month, depending upon
when my copies actually arrive.

Enterprise Review: “Carpenter Street”
B&B are back! About the only thing that makes this episode pallatable is by watching it and then watching “The Hulk.”
