The Disney flick stays on top for another week, with the Jumanji sequel coming up number 2.
Supernatural Discussion – “The Journey Home”
If we’re going to see long term story arc development,
tonight’s episode is bound to have it. Also, I have
to say that this is the first WB series that’s made me
want a soundtrack album, and yet somehow, it’s the
first that hasn’t told me exactly who I was listening
to at the end of the episode. I’m not sure we’re
going to get one.
Surface Discussion – “108”
Another week has gone by. How many bikinis were
visible last night?
Kolchak cancelled
The new version of The Night Stalker has been
cancelled effective immediately. That means that, of
the nine produced episodes, only six will have been
broadcast. This week, a two hour edition of
Primetime Live will appear in its time slot.
Braga: I’m Done With Trek
No joke people. One-half of the wonder twins is quitting the Trek game, at least for the “foreseeable future.”
I’m actually choking back tears of joy.
Some choice quotes from the article:
“There will be a lot of fans cheering about that.” – Umm, so you knew you sucked and yet did nothing to improve anything?
“Star Trek was very good to me.” – And yet you refused to return the favor? Bastard.
“…there just comes a point where I’m not sure what else I would have to give.” – Which translates into: “I’ve got nothing left to rip off.”
Comic Review – “Showcase Presents Green Lantern Vol. 1”
DC launched an Essential-type line in September. I
picked up both of the launch titles, but I haven’t had
all that much time to read them. (I’m still working
through 40 Years of the Amazing Spider-Man,
too.)

Aquaman gets his own series
The full details are here.
In short, Arthur Curry (who will not be called Aquaman
in the show, nor will that word appear in the title)
will be shown in his formative years, as he chooses to
protect the oceans. It will be headed by Miller and
Gough, but it won’t be a Smallville spinoff,
and won’t even have the same actor that
Smallville used. It will be on the WB
network.
Ant-man to the rescue?
Marvel’s had its share of difficulties before. Can films on lesser-known characters save them?
Weekly DVD Picks – Tuesday, November 15, 2005

Ghost Whisperer Discussion – “On The Wings Of A Dove”
A ghost, played by that guy with all the tattoos, is
haunting Melinda’s husband.
