writes, I was going through the extras in the Dawn
of the Dead 2004 DVD. In “Special Report: We
Interrupt This Program” — a fictitious newscast used
as background in several of the movie’s scenes — Richard
Biggs gives what I think would have been his last
performance, as a newcaster reporting on the plague
of zombies infesting Wisconsin. His career
ended a few decades too soon.

Or maybe I’m overstating Sci-Fi channel’s influence?
Snow Crash
Neal Stephenson’s third novel, Snow Crash made him a writer to read. An often hilarious successor to the cyberpunk novels of the 1980s, it finally receives its Bureau review.

Fantastic Four Behind The Scenes
Alexius writes, Yahoo Movies Has A Behind The Scenes Of The Fantastic Four. The Characters Do Look The Part Pretty Well. I Wasn’t As Disappointed With Sue As I Thought, And They’re Using A Costumed, Not CGI’d, Ben. Be Warned, It Spoils Stan Lee’s Cameo.
