Matt Smith IS The Doctor
The BBC has announced that actor Matt Smith, age 26 will be the next actor to take on the role of The Doctor, after David Tennant regenerates.
The final of the four special episodes of Doctor Who with Tennant as The Doctor will run in early 2010 – presumably the regeneration will be in that episode, putting Tennant’s run as The Doctor (2005-2010) at approximately 4 years, on par with John Pertwee’s run (1970-1974).

Judge Rules In Favor of Fox in Watchman Film Suit
The New York Times is reporting that the judge in the 20th Century Fox vs. Warner Brothers case has said that he intends to rule in favor of Fox’s claim that it holds a copyright interest in Warner Bros film adaptation of Watchmen
This came out in a 5-page written order issued today (December 24th) by the presiding judge, Gary Feess, with a longer ruling forthcoming with more information. Feess, in his ruling advises Fox and Warner to either come to a settlement or appeal. No word as yet (as this story, basically, just broke) on what Warner Bros next move will be, and what this will mean for the film.

Well, we’ve reviewed the movie, and as we haven’t gotten a game review in for a while (and because I managed to rent the game before I got snowed in), it’s time to give the game it’s due. Does it achieve the lofty heights of Goldeneye 64? Or, does it languish in mediocrity?

Weekend Review – Project A-Ko: Versus/Uncivil Wars
This weekend we get to the final Project A-Ko OVA, something of an “Elsworlds” piece, which makes the tone a little more serious, while continuing with the action and comedy. Does it work?
Note: Versus is the Japanese title of the OVA, Uncivil Wars is the American title. I’ve got no idea why they changed the name.
