Dorothy’s a proto-Goth, the Cowardly Lion is a psychic, the Scarecrow is a criminal, and the titular Tin Man is an ex-cop. Man, those are some good drugs. Anyone else watching the Sci-Fi miniseries loosly based upon “The Wizard of Oz”?

Galactica’s Last Season Pushed Back? (again?)
The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the final season will premiere not in January, but in April. At least “Razor” is still on for later this month, though one two-hour movie is precious little solace.
Star Trek XI: Christmas 2008
Startrek.com reports that the next Star Trek movie is presently scheduled for a Christmas Day 2008 release. Zachary Quinto, best known as Sylar from Heroes, will be playing a younger Spock; Leonard Nimoy will apparently also reprise his role. The title of the seventh and (presumably) final book in the Harry Potter series has been released. It’s spoilered here for your protection: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Is there any deep significance, or is it just a really cool title?
Edit: I fixed the title because I had one word wrong. I was in a hurry, but it’s better now. :)
Firefly: The MMORPG
Multiverse, a company that appears to make MMO middleware (i.e. the stuff you use to make games, but not games themselves), announced today that they have acquired from FOX the rights to make a massively-multiplayer game based upon the ‘verse of Firefly. Multiverse’s software has already been used to make a whole bunch of games nobody’s ever heard of.
