has a detailed
analysis of the changes between the original,
special edition, and DVD versions of the Star Wars
Episode 4: A New Hope. What’s really neat about
it is that they have screenshots showing the
changes. This is more detailed that the one we
pointed you to before the official release.

Lucas Defends Star Wars DVD Changes
No real surprise that he’s defending it, but the article (from Sci-Fi Wire) does a good job of summing up the changes.
Episodes 7, 8, and 9?
Way back when, Lucas claimed that Star Wars would eventually consist of a trilogy of trilogies. Then, for a long time, he denied that he would ever make the final trilogy, three episodes which take place after the original three.
According to this story, we might be seeing these after all.
Is this a good thing, or not?
