We’ll get to Childhood’s End and The Expanse soon. Meanwhile, here’s the place to discuss the last Supergirl ep of 2015, in which Astra casts shade on Kara’s mother, and a hacker puts Cat’s reputation and job in jeopardy.

Supergirl Discussion: “Human for a Day”
The series does the inevitable “hero loses her powers” episode, but they give it a good spin, making this ep one of the strongest since the pilot.
We also learn Hank Henshaw’s true identity and, if you haven’t heard already, it’s not the one we were led to expect.
Supergirl Discussion: “Red Faced”
Pretty much everyone acts like a dick this week, but we do see an effective take on T.O. Morrow, new information about Pa Danvers’s disappearance, and a startling last-moment twist. The Red Tornado recalls ludicrously the Tin Man; the episode itself, while it had some decent moments, needs a heart.

Supergirl Review: “How Does She Do It?”
The show gets grounded this week by its own Silver Age silliness, but we do learn more about Maxwell Lord, Hank Henshaw, and Cat Grant.
Supergirl Discussion: “Livewire”
This week’s episode was uneven, but it did a pretty good job of resembling a Silver Age Supergirl comic: villain with a ridiculous origin and questionable powers, forced relationship drama, and an easy resolution. Still, Britt Morgan has fun as Livewire, and we learn more about Kara’s family history. How you responded to this episode, I suspect, depends upon what you expect from this series.
Supergirl Discussion: “Fight or Flight”
Supergirl faces one of Superman’s villains (in fairly well-done fight scenes), we learn more about Maxwell Lord, and the Man of Steel puts in a cameo. We have no review this week, but I have a couple of lingering questions that might kick-start discussion:
Supergirl Review: “Stronger Together”
It’s no picnic for Supergirl, as she encounters public scrutiny, self-doubts, and the usual problems with aunts and bugs.
Supergirl Review: Pilot
The DC cinematic universe expands… Except that Supergirl, who flew onto the screen last night, doesn’t connect to the Flash/Green Arrow TV shows or the Man of Steel / Justice League franchise. Or, thank Rao, to Gotham.
Will she connect with viewers?
Superman v Batman: Dawn of Justice Trailer
The new trailer’s out.
Yet Another Superhero Prequel Show in the Works
With the success of Gotham seemingly established, Syfy has announced Krypton, a series that takes place before Superman’s home planet blows up. Apparently, Grandpa El will be a central figure.
No, this is not an Onion story.
