The two-part season finale, “Over There,” features many exciting moments, numerous questions that I suspect will be selectively answered, better-than-average acting, and plot twists that a ten-year-old could see coming.

Fringe Discussion: “Over There, Part 1”
I hope to have a review next week of the whole. Meanwhile, here’s a place to discuss Fringe‘s big Heroes/Crisis on Earth 1-2/Charlie Jade/Mirror Universe ep. I only wish Walternate had sported a goatee.
Fringe Discussion: “Northwest Passage”
This is the last episode before the two-parter that will take Walter and Olivia to the alternate universe to save the world(s). I’m guessing that, at the very least, it improved upon last week’s song and dance.
Fringe Discussion: “Brown Betty”
The film noir look worked, and I liked a stoned Walter singing Tears for Fears, but I couldn’t get into this filler ep. Too much forced-quirky and too little of either substance or entertainment value.
How do people feel who actually follow the show each week? Was it fun? Stupid? Meh? Was this the one your friend who’s never seen the show finally sat down to watch?
(And does anyone want to do weekly reviews of Fringe?)
Fringe Discussion: “The Man from the Other Side”
Teens dying before they get old, Olivia and Peter investigating in full X-Files mode, and Walter facing… His past? His peeved doppelgänger?
What did the Bureau make of the Man from the Other Side?
Fringe Discussion: White Tulip
Fringe finally does a time-travel episode. Did it work, and well enough to justify opening that particular, problematic door?
Fringe Discussion: “Olivia. In the Lab. With the Revolver”
After last week’s remarkable flashback, Fringe returns to a more typical episode. Hanging over the plot, we have Olivia and Walter’s decisions about Peter. We also receive some clues regarding the show’s direction.
Fringe Review: “Peter”
Despite the title, this episode focuses on various incarnations of Walter: mostly insane, mostly sane, and alternate-reality. The emphasis on John Noble makes this the best Fringe thus far, provided one can ignore the heaps of comic-book plot and scientific developments.
Fringe Discussion: “Jacksonville”
No, Fringe isn’t crossing over with Heroes— at least, not yet. Samuel didn’t cause those tremors.
The survivor of a building collapse gives the team an extra head’s-up on otherwordly doings, while events at a creepy abandoned daycare center comment on child abuse. The episode begins well and features some fair character development….
Fringe Review: “The Bishop Revival”
The Bishops’ Nazi connections return to haunt them after several people die mysteriously at a wedding.
