Ollie Johnston, the Last of the ‘Nine Old Men’ has Died

Ollie Johnston, the last surviving member of the group of Disney animators known as the ‘Nine Old Men’ has passed away at age 95.

He, along with Frank Thomas were influential not only back in Walt’s day, but served as consultants for Pixar and inspired a whole new generation of animators. If you’re into animation, I highly recommend the documentary “Frank and Ollie” about the two friends and their work.

BSG Streaming New Episodes at Noon Fridays
