This week had three Civil War issues. There was this issue from the main series, the last issue in the New Avengers crossover (which will be reviewed before next Wednesday), and the first of two issues in the Iron Man crossover. This issue takes place between the pages of the Iron Man issue, and I believe both of those take place before the New Avengers issue.

Day Break Discussion: ‘Pilot’ and ‘What If They Run’
Detective Brett Hopper is having a really bad day, accused of killing Asst. DA Alberto Garza. He has an alibi, but no one believes him. When he realizes that he has been framed, he tries to run away but has to stop when he learns that his loved ones are also in danger. But one morning, he wakes up and relives the same day over and over again. To stop this cycle, solve the mystery and have a normal life, he must find out who framed him.

Saturday Review: Hard Candy
This stripped-down thriller with a cyber-twist has been doing far better as a rental than it did last year in the theatres. Ellen Page, whose past roles include Kitty Pryde in the most recent X-Men movie and Treena Lahey on Trailer Park Boys, gives a standout performance as a teenaged girl who enters dangerous territory.
