Firefly Online announced

In the first of a zillion or so news announcements from San Diego Comic-Con, we present the teaser trailer for “Firefly Online,” a social MMORPG targeted to mobile devices. The game’s Web site is at keepflying.com, but it’s being hammered (not Captain Hammer) and may take a while to load.

Disney to Acquire Lucasfilm

Also, tucked into the press release is a mention of “Star Wars Episode VII”. Make of that what you will.

The crew finds a (plot) device that’s about as likely to get them home as anything Voyager found in the first season. Y’know, the problem with “here’s a way home” in a show where the premise of the show is “you’re a long way from home” is that even though the characters don’t know it won’t work, we know it won’t.
