Firefly Online announced
In the first of a zillion or so news announcements from San Diego Comic-Con, we present the teaser trailer for “Firefly Online,” a social MMORPG targeted to mobile devices. The game’s Web site is at keepflying.com, but it’s being hammered (not Captain Hammer) and may take a while to load.

Matt Smith to leave Doctor Who at year’s end
According to the BBC, Matt Smith is leaving Doctor Who at the end of the year, during the 2013 Christmas Special. I doubt this is connected to the Series 7 finale from a couple weeks back, but who knows…

According to BBC, Fox has pulled out of plans to make a US version of Torchwood. BBC Worldwide is still looking for another US network to air the show.
