Maybe it’s random link/blog bait, but
The Unified Field Crossover History of the Universe
is just nifty. They cover Doctor Who, Buffy, Anne Rice’s novels,
Cthulhu, Tolkien, Xena, and in fact a whole lot of things.

It appears that TV Guide Online has an interview with Sci-Fi channel exec, Bonnie Hammer and goes into exactly why “Farscape” got the axe.
You may or may not agree with her, but I gotta give kudos to Sci-Fi for at least giving some explanation. Doubtful you’ll hear anything from any of the “big boys.”
pythor writes, Since we’ve gotten these discussions going for several genre shows, how about one for The Dead Zone. This USA/SciFi Channel show follows Anthony Michael Hall(yeah, him. And boy has he changed since The Breakfast Club) as John Smith, a man who wakes after a 10 year coma to find he has premonitions of the future, and visions of past events. I didn’t originally consider this scifi, but since John Doe is similar, I figured I’d speak up. Here’s the first of them. What’s the general opinion of the show among those of you with USA Network?
I forgot there was a new episode on this week until after it ended. Did anyone else catch it?
OrangeCarrot writes, New episodes of Farscape and Stargate SG-1 will air tonight on the Sci Fi Channel. Check your local listings. This marks the beginning of the end for Farscape, this is the first of the last 11 episodes.
rickyjames writes, As reported on Sci-Fi Today, UPN has decided to pass on picking up Firefly for continued episode production. Fans are reorganizing to continue their quest to find Serinity and crew a new home. Three final episodes of Firefly are completed but have not been aired; no word on when, or even if, they will be broadcast. This was my favourite show this season. Not just my favourite new show, but my favourite show. It needs to find a home on a network with viewers that like to think so it can thrive.
Marvel has sent out two odd press releases recently. The first odd release was designed to make it look like the titles of the five new comics coming in April were accidentally leaked, although the fact that it was an intentional leak was somewhat obvious. (The “e-mails” that were “accidentally” quoted had some inconsistent header information.) None of these titles were 1602 (Neil Gaiman’s project) or Squadron Supreme (JMS’s MAX line title) though. Now Marvel has just released a teaser image about a character named Gus Beezer. The image is visible below, although further details will be withheld for another week or two. UPDATE: Marvel sent out another release with another image, also below. The titles of comics I mentioned earlier are Runaways, Thug,
Crew, Quest, and Infinity.

Final Fantasy, the original game in the series, and Final Fantasy 2, the sequel without character levels that never crossed the pond, will be released in 16-bit versions with additional cutscenes in a single package in April, 2003. The details on this announcement and the games themselves can be found at RPGamer.
The second season of Babylon 5 has a DVD release date of April 29, 2003, according to TV Shows on DVD.
After a three week break, we wish we could go on another…
