This
week’s shipping list includes such gems from DC as
the Arkham Asylum Anniversary Edition, the
final issues of the Return of Donna Troy and
Rann / Thanagar War miniseries, Elfquest
Archives Vol. 3, the start of the Robotech:
The Shadow Chronicles miniseries, Watchmen:
The Absolute Edition, a new edition of V for
Vendetta, and the Showcase Presents
Metamorpho Vol. 1 collection of low-cost Silver
Age reprints. (I’m happy with the paper and
reproduction quality of the Superman and
Green Lantern volumes I picked up last week,
though I don’t have enough interest in Metamorpho to
grab this set.) Marvel’s offerings include a reprint
of Astonishing X-Men #12, which has once
again delayed the release of the TPB I’ve been waiting
for, Powers #13, Supreme Power: Nighthawk
#2, and Uncanny X-Men #465. You can
also grab a copy of The Complete Calvin and
Hobbes this week at some comic shops, and many
bookstores.

Supernatural Discussion – “Phantom Traveler”
Last night saw a new type of demon on
Supernatural, which seemed tailor made for
those who don’t care to fly.

Movie Discussion – “Serenity”
The review was posted a while ago, after being submitted by Lurch Kimded. This is a forum to discuss the movie in a very spoiler-happy way.
Ghost Whisperer Discussion – “The Crossing”
Melinda works with a boy who did not survive a plane
crash.
Threshold Discussion – “The Burning”
The team tracks down an escaped mental patient.
(Sorry if you caught the description of “Shock”
earlier; for some reason, the official site is posting
a description of next week’s episode instead of this
one.)
Smallville Review – “Arrival”
The final season kicked off last night.

Night Stalker Discussion – “Pilot”
The new version of The Night Stalker premiers tonight, starring Stuart Townsend as Kolchak. (The season premier of Smallville is also on tonight, but we’ll go with a review rather than discussion column. Expect that tomorrow morning.)
